Who and What is Amber Support?
Amber Support is a unique service but at a cost that is in line with other care providers in Sussex. Amber Support is unique, flexible and affordable. Amber support is not an agency, I do not employ anyone, my service is an individual service that is built around the needs of each client and each clients family.
I provide a unique care service which is designed to offer a complete package of care. This can include personal care, washing, dressing, supporting and providing meals, activities and general wellbeing support.
I provide a specific care service which is designed for individuals recovering from a stroke or brain injury.
For individuals living with dementia but also a companionship and care provision suitable for all. I undertake a wide range of activities with those to whom I care which is completely driven by their hobbies and likes, their current abilities and takes into account the individuals wants and needs.

Find out if Amber Support is for you
I offer a free of charge 30-minute discussion with your family to see if Amber Support provision is something you feel would be right for you, it usually goes on a bit to an hour, but I still don’t charge!
I find that ‘chat’ usually takes over and everyone loses track of time, but I never charge for that initial meeting.
It is incredibly important that everyone in the room is comfortable with me and that often takes time.
What I will stress is that I will always direct the conversation primarily to the person living with dementia as it is vital that they feel included, engaged and central to the decision-making process. It is important that they don’t feel that everyone is speaking for them and especially, over them.
